New region and transforming mount in Black Desert

Employees of Pearl Abyss have announced the addition of a new area called Idania to the game — it will only be possible to explore it in detail on August 21. However, right now, users of the MMORPG Black Desert can ride the Krogdallor. This mount is an Illusion of Dreams and can change its properties depending on the biome, meaning you can both gallop and fly on it. Here's what we know about the changes in BDO so far.

Idania is a region devastated by battles. But among the ruins stand five castles: Orbita, Etherion, Nimpamare, Tenebraum, and Zephyros. They are ruled by five lords: Ino, Jardyn Dukas, Ensla, Kartian, and Kafras from Advir. All five are connected to storylines that will be added to the game by the end of the month. For example, Ino is a mermaid guarding treasure, while the witch Kartian is known for driving cyclopes out of her lands and founding the village of Tariffa. Those who wish to excel in mastering magic must obtain a particularly powerful scroll from her. The steed Krogdallor is already available in the game. Its unique feature is that it changes its abilities depending on the terrain it traverses. To obtain this fantastical creature, you must complete the Merondola quest in Grana, for which you will receive a mount certificate.
