New PvP mode in Guild Wars 2

Although ArenaNet's MMORPG already has such modes, the developers admit that they made them too difficult for beginners. That's why the next PvP event the studio staff decided to prepare together with the fans of the game. It's about five-on-five battles, where the participants will have to fulfill the only condition - to drag the item to the enemy base, fighting off the attackers. In the beta version of these matches, called Push, will be presented on September 10.

ArenaNet's designers have only a prototype map and basic mechanics, and their main goal is to provide a pleasant PvP experience for those who have not yet upgraded their heroes to high levels. At the same time, matches will be organized without sacrificing the spirit of competition. All the participants have to do is move a special object towards their opponents and don't let them push it back in. But what is more remarkable is that Push serves as a kind of training before Conquest, i.e. users will be able to progress from easy tasks to more difficult ones and increase their personal skills.

At the moment, the minimal version of the mode has been built - with gray boxes instead of rocks, interface panel plugs, as well as elements borrowed from other locations. It will be presented in the beta on the 10th. After collecting and analyzing feedback, matches and arenas for them will be further improved. The testing will last until September 23. It also became known that Tournament of Legends - another multiplayer competition - will be released at the end of the month together with the next update.
