New enemies and guns have appeared in ARC Raiders
Embark Studio has updated their extraction shooter to version 1.22.0, naming the patch Flashpoint. The game now features a wider selection of weapons, and the ranks of robotic enemies have been replenished. However, the developers have also improved the matchmaking algorithms — players who prefer using free kits will now have a much lower chance of encountering those who assemble their own gear. The list of changes is complemented by gameplay adjustments — we'll tell you more about them.
What has changed in ARC Raiders with the release of Flashpoint?

Raiders emerging from Speranza can now take two new guns with them. The first is the legendary energy shotgun «Dolabra». The second barrel is the submachine gun «Canto». This arsenal expansion will come in handy for heroes if they encounter the «Evaporator» on the map — a new type of flying machine from the ARC hordes. It's armed with a laser cannon and uses original attack patterns, distinguishing it from other drone enemies. Also useful in battles against machines is the added overvoltage coil in the item set. If deployed on the terrain, it will electrocute any enemy, whether mechanical or not, that enters its area of effect.
The main novelty of matchmaking is that gamers with self-assembled equipment will most likely be placed on newly opened servers — where the battle has just begun. This, for example, will provide more opportunities to collect loot in locked rooms (where more valuable items have been added with the patch). Raiders with free kits, in turn, will remain in the shooter with the same rights. The main project of «Flashpoint» was the assembly of a high-gain antenna commissioned by Shani. The developers made Pluskin more effective, and added beauty to the heroes: among the wardrobe additions are the «Vanguard», «Brigade», and «Wasp Hunter» sets.
