Madness and Terror. New World Spring Update

At the end of March the popular MMORPG New World received a major update titled Heart of Madness, or, to put it in Russian, "Heart of Madness". And on the last day of the first spring month the developers even published a trailer devoted to one of the game's villains - Isabella. Judging by the eerie mood of the video, gamers will have an adventure in the spirit of Howard Lovecraft's stories and battles with terrifying monsters. Let's tell about all the changes in details.

"Heart of Madness" is a major update that changes many aspects of the game, including combat mechanics, enemy AI, quests, locations, and items. Of the latter, it is worth noting the blunderbuss - a firearm for firing at long range, and the damage of this gun is equally affected by strength and intelligence, so it may well take a place in the equipment of the wizard. The update touched on details such as storage capacity, the cost of moving items, as well as the teleportation speed of the characters. But most importantly, of course, are the missions to be performed alone and in the company of friends.

The centerpiece of "Heart of Madness" is the Tempest's Heart expedition for players with a level 60 or higher. This is where the adventurers await Isabella, shown in the trailer. In addition, open-world explorers can participate in roadside encounters and capture scenic vistas thanks to the easels set up in each area.
