The first season has begun at New World

Since April of this year, MMORPG New World by Amazon Games is switching to the format of seasonal updates. And the first one, called Fellowship & Fire, has already been uploaded to the servers. It has a large story adventure, as well as an expedition, a combat pass with rewards, changes to the balance and abilities of the characters. Changes will remain relevant until June 27, when the developers will launch the next season.

Let's start with the combat pass. It came out in two versions - free and premium. But in either case, regardless of their choice, each gamer gets armor for the character, one emotion, skins for weapons, tools, and camp. The story added to the season focuses on a team of mercenaries known as the Silver Ravens. They confront a mighty sorcerer and a barbarian horde, and at the same time deal with the problems of their customer. Anyone can join the squad to go through all the dangers. If you're at level 60 or above, take your friends on an expedition into The Empyrean Forge, where battles and rewards await the heroes.

As for the amendments to the balance, the developers, in their own words, made an emphasis on magic and long-range weapons, which had previously lost relevance in high-level battles such as PvE. On the other hand, wizards lacked power in PvP. Now the situation has changed for the better - the increase in efficiency of shots and spells was about 10%. In addition, there are new enchantments, such as the "Tornado" spell, which sweeps away all enemies in its path.
