The former success of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds continues to inspire developers around the world. Here are the Koreans joined - the studio Nexon GT, which previously had only mobile projects, presented its multiplayer shooter Project D. Will there be a "battle royal" mode, it is not known yet. But visually the picture is familiar: there is a third-person view, improved guns, team interaction - even the animation of fighters reminiscent of PUBG. But this, judging from a recent presentation on YouTube, is not the end of the features of the fighter.

What is known about Project D so far

In fact, the rules of the game are largely inspired by the Counter-Strike series. After all, there are two teams of 5 unique operatives, which players choose in the lobby, and the purchase of weapons and consumables occurs before the fight. In favor of this assumption and the presence of a mode with laying bombs, while information about the "Battle Royale" is not yet available. Shooter has already passed a few phases of alpha testing, the last to be held from April 29 to May 2.

It is worth bearing in mind that only Korean gamers can take part in the alpha. But there is hope for a global test, as the first phase of beta testing will take place in May this year on the Steam platform, which is used by players around the world. Despite the early stage of development, patches are already coming out for Project D. The March one, for example, increased the performance of the action game, fixed the balance of weapons and characters, and eliminated bugs with crashing out on the desktop.
