New fortification system in PlanetSide 2

The multiplayer shooter PlanetSide series will soon celebrate its 20th anniversary. On this occasion, the developers from the company Rogue Planet Games prepared a special update. First of all the changes will affect the construction of bases, but there will be other important changes - for example, everyone will be able to get a rare weapon for activity and earn double experience. We share with you the details of the anniversary event.

The system of fortifications was redesigned so that, according to the developers themselves, to simplify the interaction with it for newcomers. Builders are responsible for the construction of fortresses, but enjoy the result of their work should not only them, and all who take part in the battle. In addition with the release of the patch there will be more than ten new buildings, including individual modules, tunnels for infantry and air defense installations. To celebrate the anniversary will help double the experience accumulation for all users from May 17 to May 21. And those who like the music from the dilogy, can listen to it on popular streaming platforms - the soundtracks of the first and second parts will be placed on separate albums for each faction.

The cherry on the cake will be a set of "Legacy", which includes NS-D Helios and other rare guns with a unique design. You can earn them for participating in battles and completing tasks. And collecting equipment will be available until June 4, as the anniversary patch is scheduled for release on May 17 - do not forget to log into the game and get your bonuses.
