Nekron has broken into DC Universe Online
Dimensional Ink Games has released an update for the superhero MMORPG DC Universe Online set in the DC Comics universe. Now the founder of the Black Lantern Corps has appeared in the game, and along with that the developers have added a new location to the map, quests with raids, and rewards for those who succeed in fighting the villains. The Raging Night expansion content is available to all gamers for free, just like the rest of the game. Here's what is known about this patch so far.
Raging Night in DC Universe Online — what has changed?

Nekron, as a personification of death, appeared on the pages of comics back in 1981, and later he took part in the events of «Blackest Night» and founded the Black Lantern Corps, consisting of dead Green Lanterns. In short, this is an important character in the DC universe — and now he has been added to the thematic online RPG. He became the main villain of the third chapter of the Light and Rain storyline. Gamers will have to go to the living planet Mogo, where the energy of grief is spreading in full swing, but it should be noted that only heroes who have reached at least level 20 are allowed to participate in the activities. Everything takes place in an open world torn apart by Nekron's schemes: after the story mission, users will unlock daily quests as well, and the main reward here is special acorns that can be exchanged for valuable items until November 17.
With the update, group raids in search of the Dark Book and solo raids have become available — in them you need to reach the very lair of the villains. During their journeys, characters will be helped by fresh equipment items, abilities, collections, and artifacts like the Fractured Ring. And the developers also decided to bring back some classic activities as part of the Flashback Spotlight event — you will be able, for example, to take part in Corrupted Zamaron for duos and the eight-player Blackest Night raid.
