The nomad invasion changes ARC Raiders

Studio Embark announced the upload to servers of the «Forgotten Relics» expansion, upgrading the fantasy extraction shooter ARC Raiders to version 1.33.0. In this update, users will meet representatives of the Wandering Envoys faction, as well as an event with rewards, another construction project, costume sets and accessories to change the appearance of characters. In addition, in two modes at once, it is now impossible to assemble a hero in a raid for free — here you will have to rely only on equipment obtained in battle or bought for in-game currency.

The «Forgotten Relics» event is connected to the arrival of the Wandering Envoys in Speranza. Yes, the inhabitants of the underground city turned out to be not the only living people in the Rust Belt, so ahead is the exchange of items and information. But first, the trust of the guests must be earned by completing several tasks for them on the surface of the Earth, where all living things are tracked down and killed by robots. A special bonus in such quests is merit points, which can later be exchanged for experience and equipment. You can also search for those very relics from the quest's name, and also complete the «Intersecting Paths» project using these errands — it will remain relevant until July 27. Whoever completes the project will receive a «Salt Wanderer» costume, a backpack keychain, and tokens.

At the same time, free equipment in «Night Raid» and «Vigilant Gaze» matches is now unavailable, so that users approach participation in these battles more responsibly and understand what they are risking. The developers allow the extension of this restriction to other maps and modes. Worthy of separate mention are the «Bandit» armor sets, giving the raiders a brutal look. Embark employees also got to the anti-cheat: if you identify an unfair player, the equipment lost because of him will be returned to you automatically — you do not need to write a complaint for this. Finally, the largest update since the release of the action game was announced — it will be presented to the public in October.
