Open test of the MMO-shooter EVE Vanguard has begun

EVE Online is a multiplayer space role-playing game known to all fans of the genre. It's probably the most popular starship simulator - and also one of the most challenging. But Icelandic studio CCP Games has other projects in development, including EVE Vanguard, an online shooter set in the same universe where capsuleers fly and galactic corporations fight among themselves. Now the action game has moved to the open beta stage - anyone can try it out until December 9.

The game is set in the distant future on the expanses of the star system known as New Eden. It turns out that local wars take place not only in space and orbits, but also on the surface of different planets. Vanguard mercenaries take part in the conflicts - the user will have to play the role of such a soldier. You have a choice of maps and character development. You can explore locations, collect intelligence and pump your hero to dominate in battle. The peculiarity of gameplay is that each fighter retains experience even after death. All in all, it reminds something of the Destiny game.

Now the project has started the event YC126.11.28: GROUNDBREAK, in which gamers will have access to 9-on-9 team battles, unique mode and hero skills upgrade. It is worth bearing in mind that the standard request through the Steam store does not work. To try out the game, you need to act differently. First, install the EVE Launcher program, then go to the official Discord of the shooter and after the tag #type-here enter the phrase "/claim pool: EVE Vanguard: Groundbreak". You will be given a code, which you need to activate in the already installed Launcher.
