Developers from Team Jade announced that on June 30, their online shooter Delta Force will receive the biggest update recently — Meltdown. This is connected both to the start of a new season and to accumulated requests from users. By the end of the month, players will gain access to battles on the territory of a nuclear power plant and near the ancient walls of the Colosseum, a new addition to the hero roster with engineer Gabriel Mercier, as well as bosses, events, and rewards. What will change in Delta Force with the release of Meltdown?

The total size of the downloadable files will be over 50 GB, so gamers are advised to free up space on their computers in advance. The new operator, by their skills, belongs to the engineer class. His name is Gabriel Mercier, his callsign is N-Two, and his arsenal is full of freezing gadgets, including a grenade launcher with frosty shots and a flask with cryogenic gas. A sharp drop in temperature will force enemies to slow down and turn them into easier targets. The first of the new maps is the AZ3 nuclear power plant, designed for battles within the "Operations" mode. Here, heroes must exercise special caution when in radiation leak zones. The second terrain, "Colosseum", is created for "Warfare" — here fighters confront each other against the backdrop of ancient ruins hit by a rocket.

The new equipment set includes the CSV-35 fast transport helicopter, the RM277 assault rifle and the SVCH sniper rifle, as well as fresh types of ammunition. Including — PLY-II cartridges of 6.8 x 51 mm caliber, allowing to pierce level 4 protection. Among the minor changes, worth noting are the frameless sight for the compound bow, the binary trigger mechanism kit for the ASH-12 rifle, and the disinfection room, staying in which provides temporary protection from radiation.
