The Absolution add-on for Guild Wars 2 is on its way
The developers from ArenaNet intend to end the Janthir Wilds series on a festive note. To this end, they are preparing to release an add-on with new locations among the ruins of Bava Nisos, characters, quest rewards and decorations. In general, every Guild Wars 2 fan will have a reason to celebrate the end of adventures in the region of Jantir in their own way. And the last chapter of the series, called Absolution, will be released very soon - on June 3. So let's tell you more about it.
What to expect from Janthir Wilds: Absolution in Guild Wars 2?

To give the public an idea of the mysterious place where adventurers flock, the developers released a review video on YouTube. For a long time, the amulet hid the Mursaat city of Bava Nisos from the prying eyes, but now the spell has dissipated, and the heroes can go to explore these lands. Here, among the mountains and ruins of buildings, dwell not only friendly characters, but also ghosts. While the Titans were invading Tyria, battles were also boiling in this place, where many Mursaatians died. The magic left over from that war, even after three hundred years, is making itself felt and spawning monsters. Gamers will have to join a squad and make their way to the Gate of Mists in the middle of the city to challenge the forces of darkness. Along the way, there are three storylines to follow.
The heroes will also have to fight for Mount Balrior with a boss that burns everyone around with jets of steam. A more serious test of skill can be passed in a special mode. And also go to the Kinfall dungeon, where the dragon Yormag slumbers. The special test mode for this location will appear a little later - on June 24. Speaking about the improvements of virtual houses, it is worth starting with the fact that the limit of the number of decorations will be raised to 2000. But even this is not the limit, if you train a master craftsman to help you. Also soon to be introduced a new kind of customization, allowing you to change the view above the manor. Those who wish will be able to suspend in the sky, for example, the aurora borealis.
