Bandai Namco has announced that the game based on the My Hero Academia manga and anime series will be released worldwide, not just in Japan, where the project was beta-tested this winter. It will be a free-to-play battle royale title My Hero Ultra Rumble, which will be available on popular platforms and digital stores, including Steam.

this isn't the first time "My Hero Academia" has been turned into a game - it was previously released on the Nintendo 3DS handheld console. But the current project, of course, is much larger than that. It's a "battle royale" for 24 participants divided into eight teams. All three represent heroes and villains, and to strengthen the characters in battle help hidden in the locations cards. In addition, the streets of the locations walk the townspeople - the good guys get bonuses for saving them, and the bad guys for the rewards attack the citizens. In general, we are waiting for not the most common representative of the genre.

By the end of this summer, from August 17 to 18 inclusive, there will be a second phase of beta testing, which will admit American and Canadian PSN account holders. Yes, the test will be console-only on PlayStation 4. However, eventually My Hero Ultra Rumble will be released on PC. However, when exactly this will happen, the developers have not yet reported.
