MMO action game Once Human received a major update

Starry Studio has announced an update to its game Once Human about meta-humans battling monsters to version 3.0.7. The patch turned out to be quite hefty: on consoles it takes up nearly 5 GB, although PC users will only need 300 megabytes of free storage space. The developers have already announced a major update that will add islands and ships to the map, but the focus right now is on limited-time events, pets, and decorations, available both in the store and simply as rewards for participating in activities.

Sea adventures with the "Abyss Islands" storyline will be uploaded to the servers only in October. For now, preparatory work is underway. As part of it, gamers can take part in the limited-time event "Golden Autumn Harvest" — it is enough to collect the leaves handed out every day to eventually exchange them for cosmetic items or types of pet companions, such as a Labrador and a Doberman. The event will run until mid-October. In "Wonderful Shots," players need to complete photo tasks — capturing the beauty of the virtual world. Rewards are also included — in the form of a stardust crate, emotes, avatars, and other in-game valuables. Nevertheless, the main changes concern character customization.

Meta-humans can now be changed at any time. A choice of 23 outfit sets, different body types, and hairstyles has appeared. The game has also added a targeted animal breeding feature — with the ability to choose parents for offspring. It is worth noting that new biomes will appear in the "Abyss Islands" scenario, but raising animals on water or in houses on wheels will no longer be possible. Gamers can also look forward to the return of the Lightforge crate promotion, with the well-known "Golden Ball" and "Thunder Lord" sets added. Rounding out the list of changes is a significant expansion of the virtual store's assortment.
