Echoes of the Cold War in the Rust update

Survival multiplayer simulator Rust continues to change and fill up with new details. This time, employees of the studio Facepunch presented a military base, where you can find a mine for launching nuclear missiles, where the braves are waiting for danger and prizes for the victory. According to the developers, they have been making this location for several months in a row, and there are some special activities associated with it.

Finding a new location in the game world is easy. It is a small military base, above which towers a radio communication tower with antennas, and in the center there is a huge round hatch. Under this hatch is the launch shaft, as well as a network of underground tunnels with rooms for personnel. Naturally, everything here is abandoned, and the once-secret facility is guarded by hostile characters controlled by artificial intelligence. To walk through the bunker and collect the loot stored in the rooms, you and your friends will have to engage in combat. So be careful: it's easy to enter the tunnels, but very difficult to get out of them. You have to prepare for a raid like this in advance.

At the very bottom of the catacombs there is a notebook with numbers on the screen - it is a countdown. But not before the nuclear explosion, but before the increased activity of the NPCs patrolling the perimeter. Also in the heart of the catacombs is a security room where you can take control of the security cameras at the base and unlock the doors that lead outside. And for those who can't get enough of underground adventure, Facepunch designers have added appearance sets for personal fortresses, reworker animations, enhanced effects from stun grenades, and other minor changes.
