The cross-server war has begun in Lineage 2 Essence
The Celestial Destiny expansion was already tested in spring 2026 by Korean users of the MMORPG Lineage 2 Essence, and now, thanks to the efforts of the Fogeym studio staff, it has been released for Russian-speaking players as well. In it, you will find new clan dungeons, improved combat mechanics for characters of different classes, and fresh item collections, but the main feature of the patch is the cross-server war, organized in an unusual way. Celestial Destiny details in Lineage 2 Essence
The server competition is divided into cycles, updated every Wednesday. But there is no mass PvP in this mode — heroes do not fight each other directly, but respond to the challenges of the Dark Fortress, earning places in the ranking. Based on the points received, lists of the hundreds of best warriors from each world are created. In addition to battles in the Dark Fortress, these points can be earned in raids against bosses and in the "Invasion of the Legion of Darkness" mode. Another reward is Dark Coins — they can be exchanged for valuable equipment. But only characters of level 85 and above can participate in these activities, and the time spent in locations that give ranking points is limited to one hour per day.
As for classes, the Saboteur has been given several tactical options related to ranged combat, and the Inquisitor additionally strikes the enemy with lightning or a sword when attacking. In addition, new enhancements have appeared, activated by accumulating souls. The Archer has gained passive skills to make it easier for the user to shoot, the Death Knight has received bonuses to "Call of Flame", "Cold", and "Lightning", and the Despot — an upgrade to "Glory", "Immunity", and "Prophecy of Paagrio". The abilities of the Voice of Destiny, Cardinal, and Priest have also been improved.
Finally, in two hunting zones, you can fight mighty bosses. The raid against Kain van Holter is available in the Dark Fortress for a party, each member of which can enter the battle only once a week. And in the Pagan Temple, you must defeat the Praetorians of Andreas to then proceed to the battle with their leader, for which the team is given only 30 minutes. Both dungeons will bring the winners many trophies, including high-level weapons and equipment, enchantment stones, and spell books.
