Marvel Rivals — now with The Hood

The superhero online action game Marvel Rivals by NetEase has been updated to version 9.5. The developers have added The Hood to the game — a well-known villain from Marvel comics who has fought the Avengers team more than once. A story campaign related to this character has also become available. The Hood, who debuted in comics in 2002, has the ability to fly and become invisible for a time, but all his magic is contained in his suit, not his genes — unlike, for example, Spider-Man, with whom the newcomer traditionally feuds. In terms of gameplay, the villain has a whole set of skills. He attacks opponents with shots from two pistols, and can also turn his hands into a pair of rifles to deal more damage. In his "Demon of Doom" form, he can shoot through any obstacles. The "Step into the Abyss" ability allows him to fly, while "Veil of the Abyss" and "Mantle of Oblivion" create a protective perimeter around the fighter that absorbs enemy shots. In a team, The Hood is useful because he can weaken enemy attacks and the healing effectiveness of all opponents caught within the enchanted area.

The storyline related to the newcomer is titled "Carved in Stone." For completing this campaign's quests, you can receive items that change the hero's appearance.
