The Lord of the Rings Online - now with pirates!

The authors of MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online based on John Tolkien's epic "The Lord of the Rings " opened pre-order add-on "Corsairs of Umbar", which is scheduled for release on November 1. In it, the heroes will be able to travel to distant shores and take part in more than 350 missions. And while the fans of Middle-earth are waiting for the story update, the game received patch 37.2 - it added the sailor class and made some changes to the skills of other types of characters.

According to the developers, the addition will bring a whole continent of four regions with the Pirate City in the center, where you can go sailing. In the harbor you will meet sea wolves resting in taverns, dangerous opponents and quests for every taste - they promise more than 350. Among the quests there will be not only fights, but also investigation of villains, who intend to destroy the world, for which Elessar and Arwen fought for so long. In addition, all heroes will receive the following maximum level limit - 150. Of course, those who pre-order the game will also get themed kits with expedition supplies.

As for version 37.2, available today, it prepares the public for the November changes. First of all, due to the introduction of the "Sailor" class, which was made adapted not so much to driving ships as to skillful swordsmanship. Such a hero is able to confuse enemies through tricks and calculate actions in fights ahead, linking their attacks in combinations. There are three specializations for sailors: Shanty-caller, Duellist and Rover. The Standing Stone studio also corrected the balance, canceling the mutual reinforcement of some negative effects and changing the skills of certain types, including Beorning, Hunter and Champion.
