Legend of YMIR is coming to Steam
Wemade Studio has announced the upcoming release of its MMORPG based on Norse mythology on Valve's platform — pre-load is already available, and the final release is scheduled for April 7. To make the game comply with the digital store's requirements, all mechanics using blockchain technology have been removed. However, it remains free, and to attract new users, the developers have created a small update with the «Rune Fighter» hero class. Reviews of the premiere are currently mixed.
What is known about the release version of Legend of YMIR on Steam?
The path of the multiplayer game to «Steam» has been long. Initially, it was made available to the Korean public, then released on the global market, but on mobile devices or, in the case of the PC version, on the official website, from where it was necessary to download the Wemade launcher. Now everything has become simpler: just have a «Steam» account to download a 0.6 GB launcher with one click, and from it, the game itself will unpack — it will take up almost 15 GB on the computer's storage. And that's it — you can enjoy battles and adventures in a fairy-tale world. Full access to the servers will open tomorrow, and for now, everyone has the opportunity to download the client and test its functionality. The developers also recommend updating the graphics card drivers since the project is built on Unreal Engine 5.
