IceBlade and a couple of operations in Warframe
Digital Extremes has announced a whole series of updates for the sci-fi online shooter. The most significant will be 'IceBlade of Narin', where players will be introduced to another character, and several locations and hero skins will also be added. The audience can also look forward to the operations 'Plague Star 2026' and 'Era: Connection to Tau'. The distribution of login rewards will be an excellent way to obtain a rare Warframe that you're missing for your collection.
What makes the autumn Warframe updates in 2026 interesting?
On September 9, 'Plague Star 2026' begins: heroes will need to head to the Plains of Eidolon to steal the toxin from Vay Hek and the Grineer before the infection spreads. But first, you'll need to take the corresponding quest. This activity has three levels in total, with the first having no prerequisites. As rewards, you'll be able to obtain sigils, a two-handed sword skin, and standing points. The activity will run until the 23rd of this month. On the same day, 'IceBlade of Narin' launches — players will be given control of the Warframe from the DLC title and immediately thrown into battle with new Eximus enemies. In search of adventures, you'll need to climb the Yuvan Summit and visit Melika's Laboratory.
Until October 7, while the update activities are running, everyone will have the opportunity to obtain Banshee as a login reward. Finally, from October 15 to November 17, players will be able to participate in the operation 'Era: Connection to Tau', where they'll need to infiltrate a remote system using a Sentient ship, gathering the required amount of fuel for this purpose. Once there, you'll have to fight a lot and collect Lunar Flesh for Pragas — in exchange, various bonuses will be awarded. The developers emphasize that the event is designed as a one-time experience — after its completion, you won't be able to return to the missions.
