An old evil in the new season of "Arcane"

Riot Games has published the first teaser of the second season of the animated series based on the online game League of Legends, the previous installments of which collected a huge number of awards in 2021, including the title of series of the year from the Russian edition of "World of Fiction". The animated films also set a record for views on Netflix and made it into the US top 10. About the work on the second season was known for a long time, but only now its authors decided to share a short clip with the public.

Judging by the video, we are waiting for a meeting with familiar characters. The footage shows alchemist Sinjed, who feeds the monster with his own blood and keeps time on his pocket watch. This master of working with human bodies is voiced by Australian actor Brett Tucker, also known for a number of issues of "Castle", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "NCIS Special Victims Unit". In previous episodes, Sinjed collaborated with crime boss Silko and experimented with Shimmer, a mysterious liquid capable of enhancing and altering any organism. The experiments led to the scientist managing to save the badly injured Jinx.

In turn, the beast suspended in the laboratory resembles Warwick, also called the Wrath of Zaun, a monster famous for its strength and savage temper. It is believed that Wander, once a resistance leader and Silko's comrade in the struggle for the rights of the people, has turned into this monster under the influence of Flicker. However, the authors of the series did not give direct confirmation of fan theories. Perhaps the answers will appear later. It is still unknown whether the sequel will develop the story of the original, but we already know that the premiere of new episodes is scheduled for November 2024.
