Korean MMORPG Rohan 2 is ready for release
Publisher Nexus and studio Playwith have finally decided to present to the global audience a multiplayer game that has so far only been available to Koreans and Chinese living in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. But on September 30, the fantasy MMORPG Rohan 2 will open its doors to gamers from all countries. To be among the first users, you need to visit the official website and submit an application — you can start pre-registration right on the homepage.
What makes Rohan 2 interesting and why is it so highly anticipated?

According to the developers, the pre-registration counter has already surpassed two million applications, meaning the project is extremely interesting to the public. But where does such hype come from? Let's explain in order. In the game, classes are tied to character races. Humans can only be knights, Dhanas — assassins, elves — healers, half-elves — archers, and Dekans — dragon slayers. All heroes will be available immediately, so there will be no need to unlock anyone for money, resources, or experience points. There is also a choice of servers, so everyone can find a comfortable ping. This is especially important, considering the promised PvP and GvG (guild battles) activities.
Additionally, an automatic combat system has been announced, enhanced by a smart virtual assistant. This mechanic will come in handy even during raids and boss battles, not just when grinding ordinary monsters. Of particular interest is the MMO's economy, built using blockchain technology. Playwith employees call it «Rohanomics». The basis of transactions in this fantasy world will be a digital currency — rubies. They will be issued in a limited quantity — up to a billion units, with nine-tenths of the volume distributed among the first gamers who create accounts.
