The cooperative Cubic Odyssey is out and has received a patch

In "Cube Odyssey" gamers are waiting for adventures in the world reminiscent of Minecraft, but here you have to fly from one planet to another, as in No Man's Sky, and save the galaxy from the hostile force called Red Darkness. The rules of the game are familiar to everyone who launched No Man's Sky: here, too, you have to explore space on a starship, search for inhabited planets, extract resources from them and make useful items. Only the picture in "Odyssey" is made of cubes, and the space for creativity in the novelty is more than in Hello Games' work. In this respect, it is rather reminiscent of Minecraft. You can make anything from the extracted materials, from cannons and tools to whole outposts with working mechanisms. Heroes now and then stumble upon pirate bases and ruins full of dangers, but the most frightening of all is the Red Darkness. By freeing worlds from it, you can revive a normal ecosystem on them.

Since its release, the game has been improved to version 1.0.1.19. The developers have improved its stability, including the network code, and eliminated a bug that corrupted the save file after exiting multiplayer. According to the developers, they intend to add a lot of mechanics for co-op in the future, such as joint creation and repair of vehicles. Now the project collects mostly positive feedback from users.
