"Know By Heart" - a new game from the authors of "Pathologic"

Russian studio Ice-Pick Lodge is well known to indie game fans. Nikolay Dybovsky's team has two Pathologics, The Void, and Knock-knock to its credit - all these works are distinguished by their unusual style and distinctive gameplay. But there hasn't been much news from the developers since 2019. All the more pleasant for gamers is the release of the quest "Know By Heart", or Know by Heart in the English version. The release took place without any loud announcements or high-profile advertising campaigns.

"Know By Heart" - is a five-hour quest. It doesn't seem like much, but the story has several endings, and the process itself is diversified by mini-games. The story is about a guy named Misha, who lives in a provincial Russian town, goes to work every day and misses the old days. One day he meets his old friends, including his high school sweetheart. How events will unfold next, the gamer decides. But the authors warn at once: the theme of their new work is the acceptance of loss.

The game is designed in a minimalistic style, the locations are noticeable post-Soviet entourage, and the background sounds soundtrack in the neoclassical genre. The first week of sales Know By Heart can be purchased on Steam for 435 rubles (later it will cost 510). The game is also available on current Sony and Microsoft consoles. The developers plan to release the quest on Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms.
