The authors of the Russian MMORPG Allods Online have announced an upgrade of their game to version 17.0.00.43. The update turned out to be substantial: it found room for a couple of NPCs not accidentally named after great travelers, for battle campaigns, and for celebrating Valentine's Day. The list of changes is supplemented by a large number of fixes improving life and adventures in the expanses of Sarnaut, but we will tell you more about the main features of this patch.

Two new characters in the fairy-tale world — Afanasy Nikitov and Fyodor Konyukhin. The first can be found in the Astral Academy of the League, while the second serves in exactly the same institution, but the imperial one, and both help heroes navigate among the islands floating through the Astral. The fact is that the lands now change their location with the beginning of each season, so for precise movements, the help of such navigators is needed. Testing the theory in practice will be possible by participating in battle campaigns — «Head Off» and «The Monster of Kvator». At the same time, the number of actions required to complete some daily quests in Kvator has been reduced for the convenience of users.

Abilities of representatives of some classes have also been subjected to fixes. In particular, the timer of the «War Melody» for bards does not reset after they lose levels. And wizards until February 12 will generally have the opportunity to redistribute all their skills. The developers have supplemented or reworked «Lightning Discharge», «Thunderstorm Front», «Cataclysm», «Astral Storm», «Piercing Cold» and other techniques. As for scouts, they fixed an error in the abilities of «Poisoned Barrage». Finally, until the 20th, the celebration of Valentine's Day will continue in Sarnaut — a festival with contests and other activities is planned for this time.
