The Black Hawk campaign has been added to Delta Force

In the multiplayer action movie about Delta Force special forces there is a campaign, which can be completed alone if you want, although the developers from Team Jade still advise to do it in co-op mode. You can download this story as a separate free DLC on the game's Steam page. As it was said before, the add-on is dedicated to the operation "Gothic Serpent" - it led to the fact that American soldiers were trapped in the middle of Mogadishu in 1993. However, the authors of the action game report that the new activities are inspired more by Ridley Scott's movie than by real events.

For those who are not aware of the historical background, we will tell you briefly about it. During the UN peacekeeping mission in Somalia, international forces managed to temporarily stop the civil war that was tearing the country apart. But during an attempt to arrest members of the Somali National Alliance, the U.S. "ranger" units were forced to engage in a battle with the superior forces of this very alliance under the leadership of General Aidid. The enemy Americans managed to shoot down two Black Hawk helicopters over Mogadishu, and the attempts to rescue the pilots and evacuate the "rangers" from the city turned into a whole epic - based on it a movie was made and DLC for the game was released.

We play as a soldier of the 1st Special Forces Regiment of the U.S. Army Special Forces "Delta". Actually, this unit gave the name to the whole game. To begin with, you need to download and install the add-on, then gather a team to complete the missions, decide on the class and equipment. The higher the synergy between the fighters in the squad, the easier it is to overcome the gunfights on the virtual Somali streets. Developers separately point out that actions must be planned, and knocked down partners - to bring to their senses, otherwise you will not see the reward. To install Black Hawk you will need 28 GB of free space on your drive.
