A cooperative horror game with Mickey Mouse has been announced

The very first cartoon with the famous mouse is considered to be the black-and-white "Steamboat Willie", filmed in 1928. The same one where the hero spins the steering wheel, dances and whistles a tune - this scene is still used as a screensaver. As of January 1, 2024, all characters from this work are considered public domain, as Disney's copyrights on them no longer apply. This is already used by game developers - Mickey Mouse was shown in the announcement of Infestation 88, where a team of users must fight mutants.

The rules of the game are similar to the recent hit Lethal Company: acting as a squad, gamers arrive at the location to collect loot, defeat enemies and get the hell out of here. In this case, everyone has his own role during the session: one can monitor the situation according to the signal from the surveillance cameras, another covers his comrades, and the rest explore one room after another. A total of up to four people are allowed in a group. Acting as exterminators, they must penetrate into abandoned buildings, where in addition to malicious insects breeding mutants and monsters from urban legends. And the enemy hordes are led, of course, by creepy Mickey in two-button shorts and a sailor's cap.

The game promises private and public lobbies, that is, you can find random partners or call your buddies. The voice chat will help to communicate, and the interest of the match participants will be spurred by the fact that the prey and monsters in the locations are generated randomly - each new foray will not be similar to the previous one. It is stated to pump heroes - with experience points, perks and equipment upgrades. The release is expected during 2024.
