Halloween Expedition in No Man's Sky

Expeditions in NMS are five-stage story events that can be played alone or with friends, but in any case you need an internet connection to participate in them. This time the developers from Hello Games decided to time the event to Halloween: the path of space explorers lies to the border of two dimensions, where creepy monsters are born. This adventure, which is called The Cursed, has a number of features. Let's tell you more about them.

The journey was created under the influence of Howard Lovecraft's books, who loved to create indescribable creepiness on the pages of his works. When starting a mission, it is worth remembering that hyperdrives are forbidden in it - you have to move from one location to another through a network of portals. Technology does not work in this part of the universe for the reason that two realities collided here, forming a new dimension inhabited by monsters. The defense against external threats is also original. In The Cursed you won't have to think about acid rain or blizzards, but you need to take care of your sanity - the Anomaly Suppressor in your character's spacesuit will help you with that.

The further the heroes advance into the uncharted edge of the universe, the weaker the equipment will be and the stronger the Anomalies will be. In order not to fall victim to alien creatures, prepare special compositions - Elixir of Blood, for example, will be able to open the gate when other ways will not work, and Elixir of Water will support the braves during the last test. The expedition will last two weeks and will allow you to get different rewards - from equipment to unusual appearance customizations. It will be possible, for example, to turn your astronaut into Cthulhu.
