"Battle Royale" in Halo Infinite? Meet season two
It would seem that only recently the game Halo Infinite made all fans remember the classics of the series and especially the battles in compact arenas. But now it's the turn of the second season - it was called "Lone Wolves". In the update the studio employees 343 Industries offer several fresh maps and modes, as well as support for combat passes, allowing you to collect more rewards for the battles. They also promise shootouts reminiscent of the "Battle Royale".

The developers report that the public can try out the second season from May 3, 2022. The update will include an additional map for the "Arena" called Catalyst and the Breaker location for the "Team Battle". If we believe the trailer, the latter will be divided by a stream of lava. In addition, it is worth noting the elimination mode "The Last Spartan", which partly echoes the rules of the "Battle Royale" - here, too, fighting all against all to determine a single winner.
According to the developers, in "Lone Wolves" they paid more attention to the story, as well as expanded the settings of the free battle pass. However, the release date of the co-op campaign, which was discussed back in March, is still unknown. The employees of 343 Industries only noted that it is worth waiting for it during the second season - no other data is still available.
