The ghoul from the series will appear in Fallout 76

While Amazon's PR team promotes the second season of the series «Fallout» by posting behind-the-scenes shots and posters on social media, the creators of the MMORPG Fallout 76 at Bethesda are preparing an update slated for release on December 2. It will bring gamers a location in Ohio and a familiar ghoul character voiced by Walton Goggins — the actor agreed to voice an NPC in the game as well. The expansion will also include a charismatic villain, battles with raiders, super mutants, and rare rewards for completing quests.

With the onset of winter, fans of the post-nuclear game will be invited to a desert area on the edge of Ohio state near Appalachia. The biome is designed to mirror locations from the TV series, and it's populated by the usual wasteland wildlife, supplemented by bloodthirsty boars and other unique species. But the beasts aren't the main threat. Heroes should also beware of a gang led by a super mutant nicknamed the Rust King. He keeps on his base not only thugs who raid nearby settlements, but also an entire brood of Deathclaws — they take part in gladiatorial fights in the arena. Along the way, you'll have to protect peaceful villagers from radscorpions and complete several bounty-hunting quests issued by an NPC portrayed by Walton Goggins.

The actor appears in the game in the same role he played in Amazon's show. In addition, his character will serve as a kind of guide through the circles of hell where the action of Burning Springs unfolds. According to the developers, the content on the Burning Springs map will be accessible to users of all levels from launch, even newcomers just emerging from Vault 76.
