The Realm of Dreams opens its doors tomorrow in Guild Wars 2

The Secrets of the Obscure add-on for the popular MMORPG is releasing a patch called The Realm of Dreams. This is the second of three announced portions of content, designed to reveal the beauty of the current season. This time players will appreciate three chapters of the story, fresh weapon skills, a set of unusual armor, challenges, battles and rewards. At the same time, ArenaNet employees shared their plans for the development of the project up to the release of the next major DLC.

The heroes will travel to the world of Naios at the will of the scriptwriters who developed the events of the episode Through the Veil. Here the attack and defense techniques available for all classes will come in handy, and the legendary obsidian armor, offered as a set, will protect the braves from enemy attacks. New pets and trophies obtained from two powerful bosses will also help you in a moment of danger. Characters will get a set of updated bonuses for the Wizard's Keep and seasonal quests. The developers point out that their main goal was to increase the number of missions, for which they even had to create several additional locations. But among the plans for the future there are also technical changes.

In particular, from March 19, fans will get various graphics improvements and expansion of the settings menu. For post-processing will be responsible for three items at once: "Off", "Low" and "High". And the polishing of the program part will include edits to the balance and properties of items. The following levels of progression in PvP and inter-server competitions will become relevant. Noblesse Oblige skill after the release of the spring update will cease to flood users with penalties for errors. The release of the last chain of seasonal activities is announced for April 16 - on the same day will open the final sets of obsidian armor, crates "Super Adventure", another dungeon and, finally, the denouement of the story of the fight against evil.
