A fantasy-style special forces simulator is coming out soon

Unusual cooperative games are getting more and more. This spring we plan to release GUARDS! - a city guard simulator in medieval and fairy-tale style. The design of this work is reminiscent of Lethal Company, and the rules - Ready or Not. Acting as a guardian of order, you gather a group of four people and storm taverns, bandit lairs and other evil places.

New Alestide, entrusted to your care, is divided into three zones of influence. One is ruled by goblins, another is inhabited by rogues and thieves, and there is also a neighborhood of deranged cultists. Acting alone or as part of a squad of up to four participants users must sneak through the dirty streets to the destination point and invade the enemy headquarters to arrest the villains or cause them significant damage. And then the heroes have to get out of the neighborhood alive, which is also not easy to pull off, given the number of bandits in the back alleys.

Interactive environment should be written down in the project's features: doors can be broken down, barrels with fuel mixture explode, and crates are quite capable of serving as throwing weapons. But the guards themselves are free to arm themselves with the latest fantasy technology - take armor, swords, shields, maces, bows and crossbows. You won't be able to get violent in the raid, as unjustified damage to personal property and killing everyone in a row are punishable by fines. The game is scheduled for release in March 2024, but today everyone can download the demo for free.
