Gravity guns and garbage have been brought to No Man's Sky
Game developers with a cooperative often add civilian professions to their projects to entertain gamers. It's enough to mention the recent patch for GTA Online with firefighters. But the studio Hello Games, responsible for developing the survival simulator with space flights, decided to start with a different specialty — now the brave heroes of the galaxy can try themselves as garbage collectors. The update called Remnant offers to take on the noble goal of cleaning up all sorts of junk from the surfaces of planets.
What to do in Remnant for No Man’s Sky?

The Hello Games team decided to prepare another update not just like that, but in honor of their game's decade. The main attraction of the update was the Gravitino Coil gun. Essentially, it's a module assembled for the multitool. However, with it, any astronaut will be able to move heavy objects through the air, such as pieces of rock, parts from starships, and other equipment. The tool allows carefully moving objects from place to place or shooting them like cannonballs in battles with enemies. The gravity gun can also come in handy when clearing terrain. This will not only improve the planet's ecology but also bring you rare resources.
Previously, piles of junk were just part of the landscape of distant worlds, but now there's an opportunity to recycle any objects into components. However, recycling requires special infrastructure: you need to build recycling machines, trucks, tractors, and dump platforms. As with other tasks, you can engage in garbage collection alone or with friends, so that one, for example, collects junk, another transports it to the base, and the third processes the loot using equipment. In addition, Remnant offers a time-limited community expedition where team members also distribute roles among themselves.
