MMORPG Gloria Victis, where medieval knights fight for the possession of castles and lands, has launched a new season - with its own tournaments, locations and modes. The update is called "Battle of Nations", because now the castles in the center of the map are transferred from guilds to nations, that is, they can be besieged at any time. What else has changed in the game after the patch? Let's find out.

The developers report that this patch is the last step before the release of version 1.0, when the game finally comes out of beta status, where it stays since the summer of 2016. What will please the public Black Eye Games staff? First of all, the guild castles were abolished, instead of which the owners became larger associations - the nations, but inside the buildings remained monuments in honor of the previous owners. In practice, the changes mean the reduction of the protection status - from now on every castle in the center of the map can be attacked at any time and conquered during PvP-fighting between factions. The game also appeared a tournament format "5 on 5" - the first battle will be held on December 17 on the server Dukla, and awards will be received not only participants, but also the audience.

Changes in the map. The developers have noticed that gamers often focused on protecting their own possessions, not the capture of others. To spur the activity of users, now only 30% of the territory in the middle of the world will remain a mining zone, and the remaining lands will offer PvP without mining. In addition, the medieval MMO received a new type of siege camp - with a workshop of machines, redesigned achievements and sets of decorations, timed to coincide with the New Year.
