Lots of letters and ghosts: Ghostwire: Tokyo prologue released

One of the most anticipated releases is the mystical action Ghostwire: Tokyo, the release of which is scheduled for March 25. Publishers from Bethesda decided not to wait for this date and released a prequel in the visual novel genre. The game is called Ghostwire: Tokyo - Prelude. Tell us more about it.

The game is made in the genre of visual novel, that is, it is pictures and animation with text. The plot unfolds six months before the events of the action game, which is expected to be released by the end of March. The story centers on a detective CC, who investigates mystical phenomena. Together with his friends, he first encounters the invasion of ghosts into our world. According to screenwriter Takahiro Kaji, Prelude has a quieter atmosphere than the main story Ghostwire: Tokyo. Nevertheless, the prequel introduces the story and the important characters.

As representatives of Bethesda claimed, the development of this visual novel is entrusted not to Tango Gameworks, the studio that developed Ghostwire: Tokyo, but to the other team. The game will be free to play: it is already available for PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles, and on March 8 it will appear on PC.
