Gameplay trailer and Empulse release date
Only recently, studio 1047 Games, known for the online shooter Splitgate, presented a new multiplayer action game, and is already sharing gameplay footage with fans and announcing the release date — June 24th of the current year. Obviously, the developers of Empulse decided to take advantage of the hype around the PC Gaming Show 2026 exhibition and remind the public about their project. However, unlike the studio's previous major game, the new one will be paid, although within the framework of Steam Next Fest, a free trial period is planned for it from the middle of the month until the release day.
What has become known about Empulse three weeks before the release?

In addition to the new trailer, the developers published an open letter to gamers, where they shared their thoughts on the gameplay of the upcoming shooter and answered a number of questions. First of all, 1047 Games employees note the public's interest in the acrobatic movement mechanics of the characters — they, let's recall, will run on walls, use grappling hooks on cables, and jetpacks that provide a short flight over the location. This kind of movement should form a feeling of flow for the player, and the hooks will also allow swinging, having hooked onto some ledge. Nanotechnological P.A.I.N.T. bombs are a separate point in the gameplay. They will be of several types — some will allow characters to jump higher, others will heal, and still others will create cover at the explosion site. So this will be a tool for changing levels.
Mechs, that is, giant armored robots, will become the main objective in any match — the team that takes control of such a machine will gain a serious advantage. Mechs will be armed with different modules, including machine guns, rocket launchers, melee weapons, and shield generators. And also in the giant's arsenal — a dash that allows you to quickly change disposition. Nevertheless, the game's authors make it clear: the robot is mighty, but vulnerable — much here depends on the pilot's skills and the teamwork of the opposing squad. A 100-tier battle pass is already planned for the start of early access, and there will be no store or paid cosmetic settings in the action game at release.
