The fact is that in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, the domestic shooter will become an exclusive of the «Igry Rostelekom» platform — everyone who wants to personally familiarize themselves with the new product will have to register on it.

The idea of promoting a digital platform through exclusive rights to publish new releases that generate genuine public interest is not new. It is enough to recall the marketing policy of Epic Games Store in its early days or the story of the release of the story-driven shooter Atomic Heart — it became one of the unique offerings of the young VK Play platform, which currently has an audience of about 40 million. At the same time, there are currently more than 70 million gamers in the Russian Federation, according to expert estimates. So there is room for maneuver for the recently opened «Rostelecom» store — it all comes down to the product that would help quickly gain points. And such an offer will be the sci-fi shooter from GFA Games. However, the news about this immediately caused a negative reaction from gamers.

According to material recently published by «Kommersant», «Igry Rostelecom» is a digital store currently offering more than five thousand products. At the same time, the marketplace has its own system for verifying sellers and supporting developers, as well as a proprietary launcher. Among the known partners of the platform is the publisher «Lesta», which is responsible for «World of Tanks». The online shooter Pioner has become the very first exclusive of the platform, but whether temporary or permanent — unknown.
