Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will become even more diverse

The developers of the multiplayer RPG based on George Martin's books and the HBO series have announced that an improved version of the game will be released on October 14. Western gamers will be able to appreciate the changes, as the update has already launched in Asia. It includes combat system tweaks, character progression changes, compensation for in-game purchases, and much more. There's also a simple way to get to the content you need by skipping any chapter in the story campaign. It's worth noting that even after October 14, players will be able to stay with their old heroes in the previous world, but the original version will no longer receive updates. And if you want to play with all the additions, you'll have to install GCA and start everything from scratch. Compensation is provided for such a rollback, but its size depends on the level of character progression and how many purchases the user made in the in-game store. In any case, everyone will get at least something. On top of that, everyone will be given a special ticket — this item will allow you to skip a chapter you don't like, but will still unlock all the content from the skipped episode. The economy will also be reworked so that golden dragons can be earned on regular missions and in battles with enemies.

Plenty of changes will also come to the core gameplay — from instant weapon switching right in the middle of combat to the interface and menu navigation. Two new multiplayer modes are promised — Elite Hideout and Requisition Tokens. Even the story scenes will be improved — the developers promise to make them «more mature».
