Union of the sword and the ploughshare: MMO players went on strike
Foxhole is known to gamers who are interested in the military theme. The game combines the setting of two world wars at once and offers everyone to take on a certain role in hostilities. While some are busy riding tanks, shooting and bombing, others make weapons and supplies to deliver them to the front. Apparently, the second group doesn't have much reason to have fun. Recently, these logistics people went on strike.
Hundreds of players take part in battles on Foxhole maps, and all the action is shown from above, so you can assess the tactical situation. Since everyone has a role here, people join clans and even virtual unions for effective operations. One such group is the Logistics Organization for General Improvement, aka LOGI. This includes specialists involved in the manufacture and delivery of ammunition. After the recent updates to the military MMO their task has become even more difficult and, according to members of the union, boring. Disgruntled people decided to go on strike and issue an ultimatum to the developers of Siege Camp.
The strikers point out in their petition that after the update 0.46, their workload has increased, while their enjoyment of the game has become much less. They demand faster and simpler processes related to logistics, and at the same time point out that the success of all operations on the frontline depends on them. This statement was signed by 1800 people. If Siege Camp representatives do not meet their demands, LOGI will sabotage their tasks, which will spoil gameplay for other players, cause their exodus from Foxhole and as a result reduce the publisher's profits.
