Heroes can reincarnate as samurai, arm themselves with katanas and fight with "oni" - horned spirits from Far Eastern folklore. Also in "Demon Hunters" users are waiting for an updated arsenal, "Daimyo's Court" location and several characters, including Baymax from "City of Heroes". We tell you what is known about the first season of Chapter Six so far.
"Demon Hunters" in Fortnite
Together with the update in the world of "Battle Royale" appeared an island decorated in Japanese style. On it you can find such locations as "Lake of Reflections", "Bastion of Bushido" and "Daimyo Court" - the latter reminds of the historical quarter of Kyoto with its red pagodas and blooming sakura trees. In addition, the place is inhabited by "yokai" - spirits from Japanese myths. Some of them are kind and help people, while others, "they", are hunted. The boss of the enemy army is an unknown shogun, for defeating him you can get not only trophies, but also a medallion that gives you eternal stamina.
The Hurricane, Fury, Expression, Guardian cannons and the Typhoon blade, which is useful in close combat, will help you in battles. Magical masks will help you get the enemy around your finger, and for additional reinforcements it's enough to bring a gift to the Yokai. For example, water spirits will create a healing fountain nearby in exchange for a valuable item. The set of tricks inspired by ninja movies has been replenished as well. Now the participants of the match can climb walls, jump from ledges and tumble when landing from a great height.
Combat pass holders will be given additional options. They will be able to apply the appearance of the traveling ronin Kendo, the robot Baymax from the Disney cartoon, and even Godzilla. The season will run until February 21 next year.
