Goodbye, weapons: Forsaken World will be closed

Since 2010, the MMORPG Forsaken World has delighted adventure lovers who banded together in guilds and defended the world of Eidra from evil forces. Elves, dwarves, humans, Lycans and demons of ten classes went to the dungeons for the reward or faced each other in PvP mode to get the soul of the enemy and put it into the power of special techniques. Now the tale has come to an end: Gearbox Publishing announced the imminent closure of the project.

Since April 28, the game turned off the ability to buy virtual currency, with all investments from March 1, the developers promise to return to users. Funds will be converted into Arc credits and can be spent in other works of the publisher, such as Perfect World, Champions Online, Neverwinter and Star Trek Online. This process will last all of May - by the end of the month gamers will be reimbursed. And as a bonus, from May 11 through November 30, 2022, Forsaken World's in-store will be releasing items at a huge discount.

on November 30, the project servers will be closed forever, created characters will no longer be available. Gearbox Publishing employees say that this decision was difficult, but they have no more faith in the prosperity and development of the game. They also thanked the fans who have supported Forsaken World for the past 11 years.
