The first Final Fantasy XIV update in 2023 is out

Employees of Square Enix internal studio have announced the release of an add-on for MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV. Patch 6.3, which was named Gods Revel, Lands Tremble, adds to the game story quests, raids, arena Crystalline Conflict, challenges and dungeons. In addition, the developers have presented the item sets and shared their plans for future updates up to 6.35. Tell us about the changes in more detail.

The Square Enix staff announced nine scenarios that develop the main story and start with Once More unto the Void. All of them are designed for 90 levels. This set is complemented by four New Age Chronicles adventures that begin with Return to the Phantom Realm, as well as six secondary quests. To make gamers reach their goals faster, the designers made changes to the interface and the mini-map, making them more convenient. Treasure hunters are sent with the help of several maps to Elpis and to Shifting Gymnasion Agonon. As for the raids, they added several, including Euphrosyne for the alliance - it can take part from 9 to 24 heroes of level 90, and the duration of the event is limited to 120 minutes.

Crystalline Conflict arena, where the battles unfold between users, has a few surprises. For example, a gaping character standing still for a long time gets tossed into the air by the magic tatami. There are also false doors with teleportation, fighters under the control of AI (Clockwork Yojimbo) and other interactive innovations designed to diversify fights. Of course, we did not do without decorations: there were items for equipping houses, accessories, poses and clothes for the characters. The next update to version 6.35 is scheduled to release a deep dungeon Eureka Orthos, weapon and story quests, as well as the test Loporrit.
