The "Next Fest" festival has started on Steam

Valve has announced the start of its traditional event, during which gamers can evaluate games that have not yet been released through their free demos. All you need is a digital store account and a computer that meets the system requirements of the new games. The festival will last until March 3. However, since there are hundreds of projects on the list, it won't take long to get confused. Let's start with the upcoming hit Dune: Awakening. As we said in one of the previous news, the trial of the sci-fi MMO allows you to create a character to then import it into the full release, and test the PC performance. Don't forget that all participants of this impromptu "beta test" will receive prizes in the form of virtual Frameblade knives.

If you like pirate theme and multiplayer, check out Cannonball Crew. Here two teams of sea robbers fight for treasure on one map. But the rules of the match are not quite ordinary: first you have to hide the jewels on your territory, and then organize their defense and try to rob the rival team by sneaking to the opposite side of the island. The corsairs' arsenal includes cannons, harpoons, sabers and wit.

Independent developer Saint G offers a digital version of building mechanisms from Lego constructors in the multiplayer simulator Evercraft Mechanic: Sandbox. According to the rules, you have a set of elements from which you can model anything, be it a weapon, transport or a device with an unclear purpose. And for extra fun nothing prevents you from inviting your friends to the session.

Who is bored with space adventures, can try the demo Into the M.A.W.. Here you and your companions need to unite in the crew of the ship. You will have to distribute the roles: one, for example, will be a pilot, the second gunner, and the third - an engineer. During the missions coherence of actions will be the key to success, and the dangers in the interstellar space awaits a lot.

Another co-op, but with a first-person view and a fair share of humor, is Panic Delivery. In this game, participants take on the role of couriers who receive the most unbelievable tasks. The goal of each mission is simple: you just need to deliver a box to the customer. Only on the way there are traps and monsters, and customers are not a gift, so each parcel must be kept intact. In general, it's something like the adventures of the "Interplanetary Express" employees from "Futurama".

Fellowship offers a cooperative mode in the fantasy world. Here you need to gather a team of four people and go to the fabulous dungeons. The farther the caves stretch, the harder the bosses and the more serious the trials, but the rewards for the most patient will be more valuable. The game has a full-fledged role-playing system with pumping, so you can experiment a bit with classes or professions to collect the most effective squad. The developers report that thanks to procedural level generation, each new playthrough will be unique.
