«Fantastic Four» — now in Fortnite

While comic book fans and superhero movie enthusiasts await the premiere of Matt Shakman's «Fantastic Four», the most popular «royal battle» Fortnite is already offering gamers a collaboration with the Marvel universe. The outfits of the team leader, Mr. Fantastic, as well as the Invisible Woman, the Human Torch, and the Thing will become available to gamers on the very day of the film's premiere in the USA, which is July 26. At the same time, the developers at Epic Games are inviting everyone to the «Summer Soiree».

Four superhero-themed outfits will appear in the in-game store on the 26th, but even earlier, they can be won in a themed squad tournament. Additionally, participating in the Cup will allow players to obtain the «Time to Smash» graffiti and the «Flame» emoji — to get the first, you need to last an hour in the competitions, and for the second, you'll have to battle for a full two hours. The developers note that each of the new fighters uses their unique abilities during matches: the Human Torch burns opponents with fire, the Thing crushes with his fists, Mr. Fantastic uses both hands instead of a pickaxe, and Susan Storm gets the «Psionic Spheres» weapon. Those who don't manage to win the prizes in the tournament can simply purchase them.

Until August 7, the online shooter will host the «Summer Soiree» event, during which players can obtain the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 set. To participate, all you need to do is take daily quests and complete them on custom islands or Epic Games locations for experience points. Besides the famous «Chevrolet», the prizes include the «Crack-Smack» pickaxe, the Red Hot Chili Peppers track titled The Zephyr Song, the «Banana Racer» graffiti, the «Cool Sun» emoji, and the «Tropical Sunset» wrap.
