Championing the outsider: the new Fallout 76 team
Bethesda continues to bring the multiplayer RPG Fallout 76, which was poorly received at first, to life. Several story additions were released for the game, and also announced a roadmap for 2022 - with content about aliens, an expedition to Pittsburgh and a tour of Nuke World, which we already reported in a news story. Now we know that Double Eleven studio is joining the development team. What can gamers expect from this collaboration?
About Double Eleven and her new role
Double Eleven was founded in 2009 by Rockstar Games natives, which means that the track record of the employees is solid. During its history, the studio managed to work on mobile, PC and console projects. It took part in the creation and porting of such games as Goat Simulator, Limbo, LittleBigPlanet, Prison Architect, Rust, and Minecraft Dungeons. And Double Eleven has been friends with Bethesda Game Studios since 2020, so Fallout 76 is not their first project together.
It is believed that Double Eleven will direct to the creation of content for story extensions, announced in February. According to the studio's CEO Lee Hutchinson, it's a great opportunity to show yourself and make dreams come true, because his team is a lot of fans of the Fallout series. Judging by the information on the official website, the developers are still adding to their ranks, recruiting specialists for the open positions.
