Fallout 76 update is already on the test server

After releasing several major add-ons set in Atlantic City, Bethesda Studios has started preparing the next patch. It's called Skyline Valley and is designed to expand the features and story in a forested area. The release of the final version of the update still has to wait, but many hints are already available on the test server. To get to it, you just need to have a copy of the game in Steam and install the Public Test Server client from the library.

Open Test (PTS) is launched special in order to collect and process user feedback on the upcoming changes in the fantastic MMORPG. It is no coincidence that the authors of the game invite everyone to Discord - for ease of communication. DLC consists of two large sections. The first one has already been downloaded: gamers will find a new region, improved combat balance and Dangerous Pastimes event. To take part in it, you need to place a C.A.M.P. on the location, reserving a place for yourself. on April 27, this activity will be replaced by another, Fasnacht, and then (from the 29th) will return to its former place. The second portion of content will be related to the development of the story, but it will appear only in May.

Bethesda employees encourage fans to arrange as many shootouts as possible in the added region. This is necessary to evaluate the changes in the balance. For example, the combat properties of some creatures, including mutant hounds and Death Claws, have been revamped. Also, the edits have been made to reduce damage at a distance - this will definitely benefit all guns for firing from afar, especially when used against large and well-defended enemies. The developers remind that progress is not transferred from the PTS to the main universe, and the Atomic Shop will be disabled for all test participants.
