Groovy! New Evil Dead: The Game trailer and release date
Games based on Sam Raimi's "Evil Dead" have been released more than once or twice. A new attempt to revive interest in the horror classic is being made by Saber Interactive. For this, she has two trump cards: an unusual gameplay and the participation of actor Bruce Campbell, who, of course, voiced Ash. The developers finally announced the release date, and at the same time they published a trailer and announced several different editions of the game.
What's expected in the game
Evil Dead: The Game is a multiplayer action game where a squad of four gamers battles against a fifth, acting as a demon. To succeed, the team of good guys has to collect items, create weapons and interrupt the connection between our world and the otherworld. And the villain must attack people with hordes of undead and his own charms. The one who can accomplish his tasks faster wins. Fanservice in the form of a chainsaw arm, familiar movie monsters, and actors are included.
Resetting the resil date
Earlier the game was scheduled for release in February, but now the developers have set a new release date - May 13. The action will be available on PC (as an Epic Games Store exclusive), as well as on current Sony and Microsoft consoles. Four versions are planned: standard, deluxe (with extras), collectible (with DLC, artbook, t-shirt and music on vinyl) and Ultimate. Buyers of the latter, in addition to other bonuses will receive the book "Necronomicon" - the same as the second part of "Evil Dead. And for the pre-order they promise exclusive skins on the "Army of Darkness" theme.
