EVE Online is gearing up for the release of "Legion"

The most famous MMO simulator of flights and battles in space - EVE Online - will soon receive the Legion update. In it, gamers will receive orders from legendary members of the project, and not just in the form of courier assignments, but in the format of unique missions and stories. Gamers should also get ready for the construction of giant ships and the introduction of mechanics of strengthening systems by alliances. All this awaits the public on May 27, but for now we'll tell you in general terms what we know about the update at the moment.

At the end of the month, brilliant opportunities will open up for freelancers tired of running errands for their corporations. This time the assignments are prepared by experienced users, thanks to whom the game became so famous. At their disposal is a set of tools that allow you to build story arcs - all this will be especially interesting for newcomers who want to quickly get used to the New Eden under someone's guidance. Along the way, completing quests will bring resources that will be useful later. The developers also showed two giant starships - the entropic disruptor-equipped Babaroga and the Angel Cartel dreadnought Sarafiel, which can make small jumps during sieges.

As for the improvements of sovereignty systems, several innovations are being prepared at once. First, there will be a mechanic of generating new resources using already mined materials - this will make the internal policy of corporations more flexible. Secondly, four new improvements will bring with them paired bonuses for customizing the management of possessions. And capsuleers will also get improved research and reduced costs for conquering skyhooks.
