Developers showed the city streets in Escape from Tarkov

Fans of the realistic multiplayer shooter Escape from Tarkov have been waiting for a long time when they will be allowed to shoot on the city streets. This kind of battles Battlestate Games announced a year ago by releasing the Battle for Concordia trailer. But so far we haven't heard anything about the new map. Suddenly on the game's page in the social network VK there were screenshots with the ruins of residential areas of Tarkov, as well as several videos showing fresh weapons.

The album contains 22 images with views of Tarkov, with no battle scenes or any hints of gameplay changes. The images show shell-shattered high-rises, construction equipment, cars, a shopping mall, a playground, and other urban infrastructure. There is also a descent into the subway, but no trains. Particularly noteworthy is the fact that many buildings will be able to enter, climb to the upper floors and ambush enemies walking down the street.

Among the new weapons were a submachine gun and automatic rifle Steyr AUG. In addition, the developers have shown in a separate video, how the parameters of the gun and body armor are changing after the fixing - in the repairing balance, judging by the video, added a couple of changes. When exactly the update with the streets of Tarkov and additions to the arsenal will be released is still unknown. But the publication of such materials hints that we should not wait long.
