New MMORPG in the Echo of Soul series was announced

Korean studio Blue Potion announced the development of multiplayer role-playing game EOS Black, which develops the ideas of free-to-play Echo of Soul, released in 2013. The project is announced for personal computers, and its creators call its features "authentic for the genre." So far, there is not much information, but we know the approximate release date and published a short trailer.

As in the previous part of the series, there will be a large open world, the rules of which, including war and economy, are set by the users themselves. Gamers are waiting for large-scale battles between guilds and with monsters that inhabit the fairy-tale world. The main feature of the new EOS its creators believe the ability to play both online and offline, so that everyone can train and prepare for serious trials. Graphics, of course, also promise a very realistic. Will there be in the project NFT or other exotic ways of monetization, Blue Potion Games staff did not disclose.

EOS Black release is scheduled for the last quarter of this year, and the summer-fall 2023th will be a closed beta test. On what terms you can take part in it is still unknown. But it is considered to be a common practice among Korean developers to test MMO projects with their own audience and report about the global release separately later. This was the case, for example, with the original Echo of Soul, which became available in Korea in the fall of 2013, and in the spring of 2015 - all over the world.
